Desiccated coconut is the classic coating for ‘snowball’ marshmallow-chocolates. Mix the very fine flakes of coconut with condensed milk, icing sugar and pink colouring to make pink and white coconut ice for a taste of childhood.

You can also use food colourings with the desiccated coconut to make a variety of decorations for themed cakes and bakes – colour it green for a grassy texture, yellow for sand, or leave as it is for a snowy finish. You can also use this for your Plantain or Banana, Coconut & Cardamom Cake.
