Frantoi Cutrera Organic Blood Orange Marmalade, 225g
Blood orange marmalade brings citrus zing to your breakfast table. This preserve is made with Tarocco oranges grown organically in Sicily.
Start your day by spreading the marmalade thickly on toast. It’s deep red in colour and has a bold, citrusy aroma. Try stirring the sweet-sour preserve through oatmeal or Greek yoghurt. It’s a lovely filling for croissants, too.
For this marmalade, Frantoi Cutrera selects the finest Tarocco blood oranges. Native to Sicily, the ruby-fleshed oranges are prized for their sweetness. They have a more delicate and less acidic flavour than other varieties.
Frantoi Cutrera adds cane sugar for mellow sweetness. Their marmalade is 100% natural and free from dyes and preservatives.
Use this marmalade in baked goods and cosy puddings. It adds citrus zing to thumbprint cookies and bread and butter pudding.
Try mixing it with gin, Cointreau and lemon juice to make a breakfast martini. The tangy cocktail is a guaranteed hit at brunch parties.
Store in a cool and dry place, away from sources of light and heat.
