Flavour cookies and ice cream with gourmet grade vanilla paste. Made from top quality vanilla beans, it has a rich and complex flavour. It’s much more intense than vanilla extract so use it sparingly.

Vanilla paste is a store cupboard staple for cooks and bakers. You only need a small amount to flavour custard, buttercream and royal icing. Flecks of real vanilla bean look great in a panna cotta or crème brûlée.

You can use vanilla paste in savoury recipes, too. It adds a subtle hint of sweetness to sauces and marinades. Use it to flavour a luxurious beurre blanc to pour over lobster tails. Or, add a little to a silky parsnip purée.
